Radiation Oncologists
Radiation oncologists are physicians who have specialized in using radiation to treat cancer and certain other illnesses. All of our radiation oncologists are board certified by the American Board of Radiology and are active members of a number of national and state professional organizations. Additionally, our physicians participate in the latest national treatment protocols for both adults and children through the Southeastern Cancer Control Consortium and the Pediatric Oncology Group. One of the physicians in the group will be primarily responsible for your care. This ensures continuity of care, facilitates decision making, and provides good rapport between physician, patient, and family. Any of the doctors, however, will be available to assist in your care if the
need arises.
